† R.I.P. Lucy †

Lucy October

And to be just a tad cynical, they could have found out earlier it was FIP, if it really actually was what it was anyway instead of putting both her and Rosi through all that pain and costs the past 7 weeks. Three injections daily, while the 'doctors' kept changing their opinion on what was wrong with her, until they finally, after 7 weeks of riddling, came to the conclusion that it's something incurable, and realized today that there's no way they could help her.

Oh wow, they really found out early.

I'm so sorry.

It's always hard but seeing this it's not just hard it's more hurtful then it should be.
23rd-Oct-2009 10:27 pm (UTC)
It's okay, thank you. She's a stranger to me, you know. I'm just glad that it's finally over. There really was no use in doing all that has been done.

Yeah, I expected you not being hurt or such that much, but Rosi is I guess.
And there's no reason to treat any human being that way. Right.
24th-Oct-2009 08:05 am (UTC)
Yeah, she is.
Treat them like they treated Lucy, or like they did with Rosi?
24th-Oct-2009 12:46 pm (UTC)
Well maybe, maybe not. I usually act like 'an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth' you know this. But it would be complicated in this case. And we don't know, maybe there happens something to them, their beloved ones, their animals .... that makes them being hurt or suffering. Like nemesis.

There is not motive for revenge. They're just incompetent, and someone should realize that and help make them less incompetent.
24th-Oct-2009 06:16 am (UTC)
I'm really sorry for that ...

Where the fuck did that veterinarians study to not find out earlier it's FIP? Why did they torture the poor Kitty, and Rosy, too, in the end?

A colleague of mine told me about FIP some time ago, because a young cat of another colleague was feverish, coughed a lot and didn't eat. Even she knew about that disease!

Seems to be true that red cats can be cursed. Lucy is the 3rd I know now.

I have no idea. Maybe they forgot most of what they ever studied by now -_-'

Maybe red haired ones are prone to have a weak immune system. Cats with strong IS can fight FIP off... as it's infectious, and we have two other cats here... both of them seem very healthy, even though they've been together with her in 7 weeks. Especially Lily, he's been very close to her, brushed her fur and everything, while Charlie didn't really care.

Yeah, read something about FIP, it's passing with the feces through the cat's nose - so it's a hygienic problem with much cats in one apartment, too. Sometimes the babies are already infected in the womb when the circumstances around the mother cat aren't the cleanest ones.
25th-Oct-2009 10:30 am (UTC)
Yeah, read aboutit too. It's a pretty high no of cats that will be infected with it or get in contact with the virus at least once in their live.
24th-Oct-2009 07:31 am (UTC) - ;_;
.....She reminds me of a kitten Cleo had. A whole litter died because the vet overlooked that they had something as obvious as cat flu.

Sweet Lucy with such a pretty face.

Poor little thing. I wish things turned out differently.

"So sorry" to Rosie...
24th-Oct-2009 07:38 am (UTC) - Re: ;_;
The world needs better doctors. Unfortunately it's hard to know which ones are capable and which ones aren't before you actually have been... 'under their scalpels' *shudder*

Yeah... She never really got better.

Thank you :3
